Spiral/Twisted-In-Wire Brushes

A twisted in wire brush is known by many names, including: spiral, tube, flue, bottle, pipe, boiler and power brush. These names all represent the same brush construction, where a piece of wire is doubled over, and the fill material is inserted between the fold of the wire stem. The wire stem is then twisted into a brush. The fill material can also be located at one end of the brush, with the handle extending from it. In addition, the fill can be centered in the wire, with two long ends, one on each side.

The inserted fill material can be made using wire, natural, or synthetic fibers. The end of a spiral/ twisted in wire brush can vary considerably: cut tips, rounded tips and filled tips. Gordon Brush’s brushes also offer the option of having for a long or short-ended handle, with end ring, loop or cut end to be used with power tools.
