The purpose of painter's putty is to fill small cracks and holes during the painting process. When you don't repair the imperfections on a wall or work surface, you run the risk of severely compromising the quality of your paint job. The difference between putty and spackle is that putty is designed to be painted whereas spackle is not.

Putty is applied using a putty knife. Gordon Brush® offers two putty knives: a 1-1/2" and a 3" width, both made out of stainless steel with a soft comfort grip handle.

In addition to prepping your paint job with a putty knife, Gordon Brush® also offers a razor scraper and scraper replacement blades. This scraper has a push button and retractable locking trigger for easy operation. The handle has a soft comfort grip. The paint scraper is used for removing paint, tape, stain, varnish and caulk.
